Pancreatic cancer and malignant lesions abdominal MRI medical image datasets

Pancreatic cancer has one of the most unfavorable prognosis. The only curative treatment is surgery, but the reported 5-years survival rates are only from 1 to 10 %. There are 3 steps in the diagnosis of pancreatic adenocarcinoma (which represents 85 to 90 percent of all pancreatic neoplasms) before deciding on the treatment approach. The first step is to detect the tumor; to raise survival rates, early and accurate diagnosis is required. The ability of MRI to diagnose pancreatic carcinoma has been improved in concert with improvements in the technology and its application.Medical Data Cloud provides access to a large dataset of abdominal MRI images with and without contrast and pathology accompanied by a radiology report with detailed description. We carefully select the abdominal MRI images with varying levels of organ damage severity.
